"Family Friendly" Living Room & Boho Modern Design

Hey everyone! I wanted to share with you today about an E-Design project of a living room that I’ve designed for a lovely family. They need it to be family friendly for there growing family. A great place to entertain and relax. The look that they were going for is bright, airy and with natural elements. They loved the exotic and bight color of Boho and the clean lines of modern.

The Scope of work

Design! The fun part! Create a personalized design solution for the family.

I really enjoyed working on this project. We kept the main furniture pieces like the sofa neutral so if the family wanted to change the color pallet a little through the seasons, it would be easy to change out by adding different style pillows, area rug and window treatment if wanted. We added the colors blues and orange because its vibrant and they look great together. In the next room is the playroom. They wanted that room closed up when not in use. We added a barn door. It goes along with the natural look and give some interest on that long wall. They had a large mirror on the far wall already. So I’ve decided to use it as a focal point. I suggest to frame it and flanked decorative display units that they can display family pictures and accessories that mean a lot to them.
