Wallpaper in the Powder room?
What’s trending this year is Wallpaper in the Powder room. Big Bold prints. Large flowers, patterns and color. You started to see it last year, but now it’s becoming popular with the designers. Even with this designer. I’m really loving this trend. Wallpaper is a great way to add color, pattern and texture to your space.
Now my thoughts on trend setting is, I like to look at trends, but I don’t always follow them. I feel that trends are meant for design inspiration and to get designers to get there creative juices flowing. Each trend might not be everybody’s cup of tea. Everybody has there own style and likes. Follow that. You wont go wrong when you create a space that reflects YOU!
Just a little Design for thought...
To create a statement in a small space, like the powder room, try choosing wallpaper in larger patterns and texture. It wont look busy in the space. It’s the quite opposite. If you feel it might be to much for you in your space, why not choose an accent wall like the Vanity wall. This will give that wall a dramatic look and luxury feel.
